How It Works
Every leader brings a different combination of strengths and experience to the table. However, in the fast-moving world of game development, it is common to find strong leaders in one discipline placed into a leadership role overseeing functions they have had less exposure to. The Leader Results Accelerator Program is purpose-built to address this situation.
Our engagement begins with a meeting with the Leader, their manager, and optionally a set of peers and/or direct reports, to get a clear assessment of where best to focus the Accelerator Program. Based on this assessment, we will prepare a program based on a range of Accelerator Topics designed to equip every Game Dev leader with the skills they need to succeed at scale.
The Accelerator Program follows a 12-week model of weekly 1-on-1 sessions to provide efficient skill building, with time in between each session to implement those skills, solicit and receive feedback, and course-correct their approach for maximum real-world results.

Our Process
1. Kick-Off Call
First, we'll have a kick-off call to meet and discuss the particular Leader and situation you wish to address.
2. 1-on-1 Meetings
We will set up a series of 1-on-1 meetings to get to know the Leader, their manager, and any peers or direct reports we agree on to help shed light on opportunities to sharpen skills and abilities. Following these meetings, we will prepare a prospective roadmap of improvement areas for this Leader.
3. Accelerator Topics
We will then meet with the Leader and their manager to agree on the roadmap of improvement areas, and the Accelerator Topics that will best support this roadmap.
4. Accelerator Sessions
We will meet weekly 1-on-1 with the Leader over 12 weeks to cover the full roadmap of agreed Accelerator Topics, providing ample opportunity to implement each topic in between sessions, and course-correct using real-time asynchronous feedback via e-mail.
5. Accelerator Debrief
Once the Accelerator sessions have concluded, we will prepare a summary take-away with the key learnings for each Accelerator Topic. This will form a useful reference for the Leader to use going forward.
6. Optional: Additional Advisor Support
Your Leader may wish to continue to receive guidance and support as they navigate their role. It is common to transition into an Executive Coaching / Advisory for some period of time following an Accelerator engagement. However, there are also other options to help with broader improvements across the team and organizaiton:
- Leadership Team Advantage Workshop to guide the team through ideation, planning, and execution
- Game Dev PMO / Process Upgrade to refine or reboot critical processes to support growth at scale
- Executive Coaching / Advisory (ongoing; quarterly sprints) to enable your continued success
